i guess i could write more often in this thing....

well things are going good, the end of the semester is almost here and i cant wait. pretty soon i will be able to say goodbye to this school for the summer and go back to australia to spend time with my family and my friends over there that i have missed and that are probably upset that i have not kept up with them since i have been gone.

just a few more weeks, i keep trying to tell myself, just a few more weeks and then it will all be over. This semester has been rough, my classes have been hard for me and they have been classes that i have just not enjoyed because i do not feel like i am learing anything usefull in them most of the time. hopefully that will change in the next year.

next semester looks like it will be good, only 15 hours, that is a beautiful thing. the last 2 semesters taking 19 has not been very fun and its reflected that way in my grades, i need next semester to be good so that i can pull my gpa above a 3.0. not that that is a bad gpa, but i know that i have not been trying as hard as i should.

anyway, thats all for now. ill update in another 3 months.

Tonight was fantastic.

Tonight I led worship at THE TORCH which went really well. I think that it is the best job I have ever done at leading songs. Tonight was just really great, there were lots of my good friends there to enjoy my time with, there were some good snacks, there was a good little devotion given and a real spirit of fellowship there. I think that I am so lucky to be able to have an opportunity to be a part of what I think will be a really relevant and good ministry. For those of you who do not know I will tell you about it.

Spark Ministries has been started at Seymore Heights. Spark Misitries is the name of the new college AGE ministry at Symore. THE TORCH which is what happend tonight is the name of the Wednesday night fellowship for anyone that fits the age of a college student. This is not restricted however to those who are just in college but also encompasses those who are working and all that but are the right age. Tonight was the kickoff to the ministry and I must say I enjoyed it COMPLETELY. We had about 20-25 people there tonight, some from JBC but also some from UT. It was great to be able to meet people that go to another school and I hope to see more from UT or some of the other neighboring colleges around here. THE TORCH starts at 8pm on Wednesday night which is a little later than most places start but hey, we are college students, we stay up late anyway. Just do your homework before comming instead of after. haha. On Wednesday night the theme is really low key, its inviting, its a time for fun worshiping with your friends and building friendships. On Sunday we will be doing a good study on Worship, led by Zach Korff. Zach is a really nice guy who always brings something relevant to say and we always have good dicussion times with other Christians. That is the key to the fun on Sunday morning is the DISCUSSION. We have a good time really talking with our fellow Christian believers and sharing our stories and ideas with eachother.

This is withough a doubt the longest post I have ever written, but if you do not get anything else from it, get this.... COME TO THE TORCH on WEDNESDAY at 8PMhosted by SPARK MINISTRIES and come SUNDAY at 9:30am for good discussion with fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.
